I lied. I can't wait until 6 September to share the name of my book. So, here it is: the actual title page of my YA novel, by the unparalleled hand and expertise of Spencer Charles. Guys... GUYS!!!!! Can you imagine what went through my head when I opened this up???! This is a 100% original by Spencer, whose detailing skills set him apart from all the rest. When I saw his actualization of "Nikolas" chills ran over my body and I stared at it, repeating: "This is it! This is exactly how it is supposed to look!" It was one of those moments when you realize: let the freaking artist do his thing! Don't get in his way! Give them the keys to the inspiration and then let them go! Follow this guy! Hire him (he's probably too busy, to be honest—but try anyway!). I am only too happy to sing his praises.
And here it is, the title of what I've been working on during the midnight hours and the dark morning hours; the mysterious hours needed to create a new way to think about this boy-thief that will become known as Santa Claus! And yes, you're reading it right: Book 1. It's about a 370 pages and we are releasing it on the strike of midnight of St Nikolas' Day! (6 December). We are publishing it indie-style!! Haha! So we get to make it GLORIOUS.
I will wait until 6 September to show the actual cover artwork (wait until you see what he and Jacqui Oakely made together—JAW DROPPING). So please join us! Please jump into the forest with me and imagine a new way to see this boy you never knew; a boy that was a thief before he ever became a saint! I want book 1 of #nikolasnightthief in your hands this December!!
