How much does a word mural cost?

Each project is different, depending on the size of the wall(s). To get a pretty solid idea of the pricing for your mural, measure the square footage of your wall (length x height—in feet) and multiply it by $25.

Additional costs may be added, pending travel, scaffolding, uses of paint, and/or complexity of design beyond the basic lettering as shared in the catalogue. Either way, let’s get in touch and figure it out.
 

What does “single-use” mean?

These are one-of-a-kind designs. “Single-use” means that I’ll only reproduce the design you’ve reserved once. Ever. On your wall. So, you won’t see the specific design you reserved on another wall, anywhere.

What does “reservE design” mean?

“Reserve Design” means you throw down $50 to let me know you’re pretty serious about having me install this mural into your life. It also notifies me, so I can call you and chat about the project’s particulars. Lastly, it reserves the that one-of-a-kind design for you. The $50 reservation fee will be a portion of the TOTAL PRICE of your mural installation.

How do i prepare my wall for the mural?

(1) Move any/all furniture that may be directly touching or in front of the wall. (2) Remove any art or wall decor that may be taking up space where the mural is to be painted. (3) Get a warm, damp cloth and spray it with a safe, general surface cleaner. Wipe down the wall in enough time that it’ll be dry when I arrive. If you have any further questions, get in touch with me and we’ll figure them out.

is there a canvas option?

The short answer is YES. As one client put it, “I know we aren’t going to stay in this house forever and I’d like to take the art with me. So, can you adapt the design to a large canvas? That way I can take it with us to our next home.” Reserve the design you’d like—or request a custom motto or mantra relating to your home or family—and we’ll chat about pricing when we have our initial phone call. The same rules of single-use apply to the canvas as they do a wall mural: if you go through with the commission, your canvas will be the only version of that specific design out there.
 

Does the mural have to be b/w?

Nope. When you and I consult about your project, we can dialogue about other colors that align to room or wall or vibe you’re going for.
 

do you create custom mottos or mantras?

I sure do. If you have a motto or mantra—something you’d like to see and be reminded of every day—just send me an email or a text and we can make that a reality.
 

Will you make other designs—Other mottos or mantras?

Yep. I plan to do other sets, (similar to the featured LOVE YOU set) as well as other one-off letter combos I come across through reading or inspiration. I’ll share those ideas via my Instagram and TikTok accounts.

What happens to the original lettering design?

If you go ahead with the mural installation, I will gift you the 8”x8” original lettering design! I do reserve the right to use the design in/on another format (like a sweatshirt or tote) if there is enough expressed interest. Still, you’ll have the only MURAL version of the design.
 

what if i decide I can’t have the mural made—after my reservation?

If we decide the mural isn’t right for you at the time we chat, I will refund your $100 reservation fee and put the design back on the website for another owner to nab.

Do You Travel to Install?

Yes! I live in Salt Lake City, UT, but I will travel to install the murals. Traveling costs will be determined as we define your project.

Do you have other art available for purchase?

Yes. I am hoping to load those sets, soon. In the interim, you’re welcome to follow me on Instagram and commission one of my BEAUTIFUL BEASTS or PET PORTRAITS. You can DM me there or send me an email/text and we’ll get it figured out.

Do your designs come in a vinyl option?

No. These are one-of-a-kind, hand-painted murals.
